General Terms and Conditions Nature Houses Westerwolde

Welcome to Nature Houses Westerwolde. By entering into a booking, these general terms and conditions will take effect.

Definitions:

Owner: Fabian Yung & Priscilla Yung van Wijk

Manager: replacement in case of owner's absence

Guest: main guest and accompanying guests staying at Nature Houses Westerwolde

General

1. The main guest must be 18 years or older, is responsible for their accompanying guests, has a fixed residence or address, and has a valid identity document with them.

2. Room prices are listed on www.natuurhuisjeswesterwolde.nl. Prices include VAT, bed linen, made beds, water, and electricity. Breakfast and the Private Wellness Garden are optional and can be booked separately. The final cleaning fee of € 60.- is mandatory.

3. Unfortunately, our Bed & Breakfast is not suitable for dogs, children, people in wheelchairs, or those with mobility issues.

4. Our rooms are only suitable for a maximum occupancy of two persons.

5. We wish our guests an undisturbed stay. However, we do not accept responsibility for loss, theft, accidents, personal injuries, medical expenses, or damage to property caused by negligence or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Of course, we expect our guests to report any damages or missing items to us. Any costs incurred will be charged accordingly.

7. Nature Houses Westerwolde is not liable for disruptions in and around the accommodation, such as power outages, Wi-Fi issues, water supply problems, or technical equipment failures.

8. We expect our guests to follow instructions from the owner or manager.

9. The owner or manager may deny access to Nature Houses Westerwolde with immediate effect in case of breach of these General Terms and Conditions or unacceptable behavior, without prior notice or explanation, and without refunding any accommodation costs.

10. In case of a dispute between the guest and the owner, the owner's administration will be decisive unless the guest can prove otherwise.

11. We expect our guests to comply with the house rules and general terms and conditions.

Wellness Facilities

1. Use of wellness facilities is entirely at your own risk.

Smoking

1. Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and common areas at Nature Houses Westerwolde. In consultation, it may be possible to smoke on the balcony or patio.

Waste

1. You can dispose of waste in the designated waste containers.

2. Empty glassware or plastic can be left behind; we will take care of it for you due to waste separation.

Pets

Unfortunately, bringing your pet is not allowed due to our animals on the premises and potential disturbance.

Booking and Payment

1. The booking agreement can be entered into by phone, email, through our website, or via booking platforms.

2. After receiving a booking request, Nature Houses Westerwolde will send a confirmation (if the room is available).

3. The booking is final after receipt of the down payment. The down payment amounts to 50% of the total amount.

4. The down payment must be paid immediately upon booking.

5. If the down payment is not received on time, the booking request will be cancelled.

6. For bookings with arrival within 14 days, the full amount must be paid immediately.

7. The remaining outstanding balance must be paid 14 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation

1. In case of cancellation of the booking, the following conditions apply:

- If cancelled 28 or more days before arrival, you will receive a refund of the down payment.

- If cancelled between 27 and 7 days prior to arrival, 50% of the down payment will be charged. You will not receive a refund of the down payment.

- If cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival or if you fail to show up, 100% of the down payment will be charged.

2. Only after evaluation by the owner or manager (e.g., in case of calamities) can the cancellation conditions be deviated from.

3. To be eligible for any potential refund, cancellation must be notified directly to the owner via email or phone.

4. No refund will be given in case of early departure.

6. Nature Houses Westerwolde can only cancel the booking agreement in case of force majeure, natural disaster, extreme weather conditions, fire, death of the owners or family members, hospitalization, or unexpected sale.

7. In one of these cases, the owner or manager will offer an alternative as soon as possible.

8. If no alternative is possible or the guest refuses the offered alternative, a full refund will be made. Any other costs resulting from the cancellation will not be reimbursed by the owner.

10. We recommend taking out travel and/or cancellation insurance.

Arrival and Departure

1. On the day of arrival, the room is available from 15:00 hours and can be checked in until 20:00 hours.

2. It would be appreciated if you could inform us of your expected arrival time in advance.

3. Deviations from the above-mentioned arrival times are only possible upon consultation.

4. In order to clean the rooms, it is necessary to vacate the room by 10:30 hours on the day of departure.

5. A late check-out is possible in consultation if the room is available. Check-out before 13:00 hours against an extra charge of €25.

Complaints

1. Of course, we do our utmost to provide our guests with a carefree and unforgettable stay. If there is still a complaint, please let us know on site so that we can resolve it immediately.
