General terms and conditions Nature houses Westerwolde

Welcome to Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde. By making a reservation, these general conditions come into effect.

Definitions :

Owner: Fabian Yung & Priscilla Yung van Wijk

Manager: replacement in the absence of the owner

Guest: main guest and fellow guests staying in the Nature Houses

General

1. The main guest must be 18 years or older, is responsible for his or her fellow guests, must have a permanent place of residence or abode and carry valid identification.

2. The prices of the rooms are listed on www.natuurhuisjeswesterwolde.nl. Prices include VAT, bath linen, made beds, water and electricity. Breakfast and the Private Wellness Garden are optional to book. The final cleaning of € 50.- is mandatory.

3. Our Bed & Breakfast is unfortunately not suitable for dogs, children, people in wheelchairs/who have difficulty walking.

4. Our rooms are suitable for a maximum occupancy of two persons.

5. We want our guests to have a carefree stay. However, we are not responsible for loss, theft, accidents, personal injuries, medical expenses or damage to goods caused by personal carelessness or by circumstances beyond our control.

6. Of course we expect our guests to report any damage or missing items to us. Any costs will be charged.

7. Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde is not liable for disruptions in and around the accommodation such as power failure, Wi-Fi, water supplies and technical installations.

8. We expect our guests to follow instructions from the owner or manager.

9. The owner or manager may deny guests access to Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde with immediate effect in the event of a violation of these General Terms and Conditions or in the event of inappropriate behaviour, without further notice or statement of reasons and without refund of the accommodation costs.

10. The owner's administration is decisive in case of mutual disagreement unless the guest can prove the contrary.

11. We expect guests of Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde to adhere to the house rules and the general terms and conditions.

Wellness facilities

1. Use of the Wellness facilities is entirely at your own risk.

Smoking

1. At Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde smoking is prohibited in the accommodations and the common areas. In consultation you can smoke on the terrace, provided that it does not disturb others and safety is not compromised. When smoking, the doors and windows of the accommodation must be closed. The terrace must remain free of cigarette butts. Cigarette butts must therefore be left in the designated cigarette butt bin.

Alcohol and (soft) drugs

1. Alcohol abuse is prohibited, so enjoy, but drink in moderation. It is strictly forbidden to possess, use and/or trade drugs at Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde. Police are always called.

Internet

1. Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde offers a WIFI guest network. The user will refrain from visiting internet websites that have an unlawful character or that do not match the reputation of Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde as a provider of the accommodation. In the event of detection or suspicion of nuisance to third parties and/or (other) internet abuse by the user, Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde has the right to block access to the internet, either in whole or in part, without further notice.

2. In the unlikely event that the services such as WiFi do not function or do not function properly during the stay at Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde, this does not entitle the customer to a refund of all or part of the room price due.

Key management

1. Upon arrival, you will receive one key from the host or hostess for your accommodation. You must ensure that the doors of your accommodation are locked and that the lights are turned off. When checking out, please return the key to the host or hostess.

Lost key

1. In case of loss of a key, Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde will charge you €200.00.

Breakfast

1. If you use the breakfast service, we will ensure that a fresh breakfast is ready for you every morning on the deck at the nature house.

Bed linen and towels

1. For longer stays, towels and bed linen will be changed as desired. The costs of this are included in the price unless other arrangements have been made.

Guaranteeing hygiene

1. It is not permitted to sleep on the beds in the rooms without sheets and pillowcases.

In the event that irremovable stains occur in the mattress, duvet, bedspread and decorative cushions or towels during the overnight stay, Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde will charge the customer for the resulting cleaning costs and/or costs for replacing the materials.

Parking

1. There is 1 parking space available per nature house. You can park your car in the designated places on the site.

2. Parking is only permitted for the duration of your stay at Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde.

3. Parking on the premises of Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde is at your own risk. Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde is not liable for theft and/or any form of damage.

Sound

1. Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde asks its guests to refrain from making noise in the accommodation they rent and the common areas. All music - and any other sound - produced in any way must be adjusted to room volume, so that no noise nuisance is caused to other guests and residents and is prohibited in any case from 22:00 in the evening to 07:30 in the morning.

Waste

1. You can deposit rubbish in the designated waste containers.

2. You may leave empty glassware or plastic, the host or hostess will clear it away for you in connection with waste separation.

Pets

Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring your pet due to our animals on the premises and any possible nuisance.

Reservation and payment

1. The rental agreement can be concluded by telephone, e-mail, via our website or via booking platforms.

2. After receiving a reservation request, Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde will send a confirmation (provided the room is available).

3. The reservation is final after receipt of the deposit. The deposit is 50% of the total amount.

4. The deposit must be paid immediately upon booking.

5. If the deposit is not received on time, the reservation request will be cancelled.

6. For reservations with arrival within one week, the full amount must be paid immediately.

7. The remaining amount must be transferred one week before arrival.

Cancellation

1. In case of cancellation of the reservation the following conditions apply:

- In case of cancellation from 14 days to 7 days before the arrival date; 50% cancellation fee. You will not receive the deposit back.

- In case of cancellation 7 days or less before the arrival date or in case of no-show; 100% cancellation fee.

2. The cancellation conditions can only be deviated from at the discretion of the owner or manager (for example in the event of calamities).

3. To be eligible for any refund, cancellation must be communicated to the owner immediately by email or telephone.

4. No refund will be made in case of early departure.

6. Natuurhuisjes Westerwolde can only cancel the reservation agreement in the event of force majeure, natural disaster, exceptional weather conditions, fire, death of the owners or family, hospitalization or unannounced sale.

7. In one of these cases, the owner or manager will offer the guest an alternative as soon as possible.

8. If no alternative is possible or the guest does not accept the offered alternative, the full amount will be refunded. Any other costs resulting from the cancellation will not be reimbursed by the owner.

10. We recommend that you take out travel and/or cancellation insurance.

Arrival and departure

1. On the day of arrival, the room is available from 3:00 PM and check-in is possible until 8:00 PM.

2. It would be appreciated if we could be informed of the expected arrival time in advance.

3. Arrival times other than those mentioned above are only possible after consultation.

4. In connection with the cleaning of the rooms, it is necessary to vacate them before 10.30 am on the day of departure.

5. A late check-out is possible in consultation, subject to room availability. Check-out before 13:00, for an additional fee of €25.

Complaints

1. Of course we do our utmost to offer our guests a carefree and unforgettable stay. If, despite our good care, there is still a complaint, we would like to hear about it on the spot so that we can solve this immediately.
